This is a major international award that attracted 1,184 project submissions from 39 countries which were evaluated by 160 international judges. This award is presented to the team who can reimagine presence-based pedagogies, and improve learning outcomes in traditional learning environments.

Finalist - QS Reimagine Education Awards, October 2018

This international prize is given to the best project originally directed at a K-12 audience. The award seeks any innovative new pedagogical approach, technological tool, or employability-enhancing endeavour that was targeted at, or is designed for, the K12 sector. Such projects should also either be scalable to a higher education audience, or prepare students for higher education more successfully than current approaches allow.

Judges commented that "PG Online produce outstanding quality editable teaching units for Computer Science and now Design & Technology. Each modular unit contains beautifully designed lesson materials and assessment with complementary printed textbooks tailored to cover current KS3-5 specifications. Every lesson has been carefully developed with engaging worksheet activities, practical examples, insightful questioning and reinforcement homework problems for students, which enable them to really understand the concepts being taught. PG Online was a first-time nominee at the IPG Independent Publishing Awards, having been founded in 2013. But it has made a very fast impact in its specialism of computer science education, and judges especially liked the interactive and editable elements of its resources. “It has got turnover going very quickly indeed and is exploiting its niche with some targeted publishing,” they said. “It’s a small team with a great attitude.”
