I am really pleased with the resources for the Unit 8 'Crude Oil and Fuels' so far. As I am non-specialist teaching the new specification of AQA GCSE Chemistry for the first time this year, these resources have been invaluable to me. The presentations are thorough and well illustrated. The teacher guide and power point presentation leads you through the topics logically. This has been particularly useful as I have been tasked with picking up this course with students that are already midway through their GCSE and the commentary has provided me with useful guidance of what students should have covered in earlier modules and there are also activities that recap earlier learning. The fact that the resources are so thorough and there is a WS and HWK for every lesson, has saved me a huge amount of planning time as there is already plenty for students to do. All I have had to do is add a little further differentiated practice as and when my students needed it. I will definitely be looking at buying other modules too.
