These resources take students through protecting data and information. The first topic considers the threats to data, information and systems. This is followed by the second topic which looks at the impact of those threats. Protecting data is covered in the next four topics. The protection of systems, features of antivirus software and encryption methods are covered with content on the role of legislation and the impact on individuals and organisations being also considered in topic five. Once the topics have been completed, there is a final assessment test of the topics.
