This pack covers A1-A3 of the specification exploring digital devices through seven topics and an assessment. In the first three topics, students will learn what digital devices are and where they are used. Hands-on activities will allow them to create system diagrams and flowcharts whilst learning about different forms of notation. Topic four dives into peripheral devices and media types, helping learners understand how hardware connects and communicates.

In topics five to seven, unpack essential software concepts, from operating systems to utility and application software, whilst highlighting real-world uses and implications.

A final assessment test with exam-style questions is included to help students consolidate their knowledge and prepare effectively for the BTEC Unit 1 exam.
