End of unit assessment
There are worksheets, homework tasks, and an assessment test, each with answers included in this unit.
This unit delivers informative and clear information on a wide range of natural and manufactured woods. It will enable students to differentiate between available stock forms and to understand why different woods are chosen for different tasks. Also covered are the common characteristics and faults found in a broad selection of woods. Finally, students look at ways to protect timber against common issues and how to enhance the natural benefits woods have to offer.

What people say...
The A level units that we have purchased from PG Online are the first resources I have purchased that do what they say on the box. A complete scheme of work, nothing else required! At a time when the ICT/computing curriculum is in complete flux, these resources have been the rock we needed to hang on to. They have saved us many hours of work and have helped students (and staff) understand the curriculum. Thank you.

Our pupils really enjoy the range of relevant topics, as well as the mixture of activities in each lesson. Needless to say, but we shan’t look anywhere else when it comes to resourcing the teaching of our future KS5 courses.
