The processing and sustainability of extracting metals from ore is covered in the first lesson before looking at stock forms and their advantages in the second. A range of fixing techniques is covered, including riveting, brazing and welding. School and commercial pressing, turning and casting methods are also covered with specific reference to cooking utensils and hand tools. What people say...

The resources save time and cover all of the new content of the GCSE, an area very daunting to teachers due to the spec change. It gives you a boost of confidence that you are moving in the right direction for the students.

Leah Skellam. Head of Design Technology, Epsom College in Malaysia

Your resources are the dream ticket in terms of their mapping and content feeding into KS4 courses. The resources are top notch with home works and mark schemes that can be compiled into a booklet or issued separately, top class outfit with excellent customer services.
