Summary

The second of the polymers units investigates the processes involved in manipulating a multitude of different plastics in a variety of stock forms. Both school workshop- and industry-based processing is clearly explained using simply diagrams and suggested practical activities, bringing to life the incredibly versatile range of polymers.
